Hello,

I have a Bbox Sensation with bbox TV. I would like to know what differentiates the removable formatting mode from the other mode? Does it allow, for example, to watch films on other devices? By using this mode, is there only a risk that the key disconnects often and at inopportune times?

Best regards

    Hello,

The BBox sensation works well with USB drives (or disks) formatted in FAT32... see ExFAT, this should be indicated in the manual for the said BOX...

Maximum size of a Video file: 4 GB

On the other hand, it works poorly if formatted in NTFS

Moreover, for “Protected” films, it’s not the formatting that blocks the USB stick and prevents reading on another device... Everything is in the video file extension M2TS.

Videos recorded on replay and without protection are in .TS files and those with a dedicated player are in M2TS... mainly on ISP decoders.

So do not confuse the two problems.
