Clear Windows Defender Protection History W10

Hello,

Look at what you have in the history line in Windows Defender (Security Center)
Then ► Virus protection
On the right line ►Protection history

For example, I have a line in the screenshot below -►This application was blocked.....


Delete the entire Windows Defender history.

1- Delete the Windows Defender protection history
In the search box on the taskbar (or the Magnifying Glass icon) type ►powershell
Right-click on Windows Powershell -► Run as administrator

Copy/paste:

Set-MpPreference -ScanPurgeItemsAfterDelay 1

Then press the Enter key.
It takes 5 seconds.
Here’s what you will see:

The specified number 1 is the number of days after which the protection history log and items in the log folder will be deleted.

2- Delete the Windows Defender service folder from the local drive.
Press Windows + R
In the Run dialog box copy/paste:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History

Then OK.
Right-click on the folder ►Service
And delete the folder Service.


All content below is now deleted.


3- Delete the Windows Defender Operational folder.
Press Windows + R
In the Run dialog box copy/paste:

eventvwr

On the left side of the pane, expand the line ►Application and Service Logs
Then the line ►Microsoft
Then the line ►Windows


Expand the line Windows
And select ►Windows Defender
Under Windows Defender right-click on the line ►Operational
Then ►Clear log


In the dialog box that opens click on -►Save and clear


Select Desktop for example in the Explorer and type next to the box ''File name''-►Old log

4- Check in Windows Defender ►Virus protection
On the right line ►Protection history
The history is deleted.
Example with the 3 lines (See point 1 for comparison)


Info:
No need to restart the PC, the effect is immediate.

Thank you for your response. But I have a problem: when I copy/paste programdata .... I only get programdata-microsoft-windows. No windows defender which would allow me to access the service. My Windows 10 version is the professional version 20H2
Where is the problem?
