Hello,
I am not the only one who owns this radar warning device or rather danger zone detector.
So, I'm warning you. Here’s the situation:
I updated my g200 v2 at the beginning of August. This resulted in removing all alerts from my g200. (Just at the start of vacation, great!!!). So in September, I bought a newer product, the wikango 600, thinking it was a device malfunction.
I updated them both at the same time at the beginning of September. That’s when I realized that the problem came from the database and not the device.
It warns of less than half of the danger zones, sometimes the warning direction is reversed, and it alerts about areas where there is no danger. So, it’s useless now!!!
Apparently the company has been bought out and so there’s no longer an obligation for lifetime updates?
In any case, I sent an email. I’m still waiting for a response...
So, owners of wikango 200 600 evo neo v2 or others, do not update your device for now. In the meantime, hoping that a miraculous update will come to fix the database.

Hello,
Good initiative to have created this topic.
In fact, it's more serious than that. If the new Spanish company had decided not to honor the commitments of the former Wikango, there would be no addition of radars when we update, but we would still have those that existed before. However, when we did the last update, I believe we were intentionally injected with a faulty database aimed at making our devices obsolete.
I think the goal of this dishonesty is to push us to acquire new devices from the new company.
I hope that other users who have also been misled will join us.
If someone knows how the various consumer protection organizations work, it would be good to consider launching a procedure.
Best regards

I'm forwarding the only solution to update the Wikango G200
G200 v2 G200 neo W600 etc.
by using Mozilla Firefox to download the file,
and updating manually by inserting the file and updating
ftp://ftp.gpsprevent.com/G200neo/DB/200309_00DB_EU.tbn

Hello
I have the same problem with a G220 since March 2020.
The only complete database dates back to March 9, 2020; afterwards, the files are about 20kb instead of 640kb
I have sent several emails without response
they have intentionally corrupted the database.
Does anyone know an alternative site to retrieve the files or a generator for the database from a text file? -

Hello everyone,
here is the link to download the latest or one of the latest versions of the .tbn file for danger zone alerts for Wikango for w600, g200, g220 neo, etc.:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HvPpRgzK5izYFyn9S3JTAu_XGFq2oFGX/view?usp=sharing
it works well, all the speed cameras I encountered this summer are included.

Hello,
Well, I'm not going to be the paranoid one, but it's still strange; I tried typing in the keywords to do a search and Google doesn't display our posts, or you have to search really hard, so I don't know if we'll be read and therefore might be the only ones complaining about it.
Best regards -
Hello,
Additionally, I had checked the box to receive responses.... and I wasn't even notified of your last post, even though I was notified of another unhappy person's intervention in the other thread. It's really strange but indeed, let's not fall into paranoia. -
Hello,
no,
not more than what I posted and that’s already very good... -
WIKANGO shut down in May 2021. I have been using RADARBOOT for several years, which is free to use and indicates the position of speed cameras to the meter, not very legal in France I think. I still paid €5.98 to avoid being bothered by ads and it works.

Hello
I have a G220 and I was in your situation.
I managed to create a radar base from a text format base.
It works for the G220
I don't know about the others

Hello jequ92,
I have the same radar detector as you, and I'm interested in your trick. How do you proceed and how do you create a database? And how do you input the information into the detector afterwards? Thank you for clarifying this for me.
