Hello
You can also import email and contacts into Gmail so you don't have to keep checking SFR. It's in the Gmail settings, under the Accounts and Import tab. You'll need the POP accounts from SFR for that.

Hello Yel,
Transferring messages from one provider account to another is not a good idea!
To retrieve very important emails (which don't belong anywhere else but with you), the best thing to do is to install a mail client software on your PC that will import them there and from which you can make backups.
You can set up your two accounts there, and it will retrieve all messages from both accounts at the same time.
Not to mention the transfer of your contacts! In a mail client, they are stored with you, independent of any provider, and become common to all accounts.

Hello,
Normally, even when changing your operator, you should still have access to your SFR email inbox, as your email address is yours for life.
Try logging in at this address: webmail.sfr.fr with your username and password.
Keep us posted.
Best regards, :))

Hello
Operators are only required to keep email addresses accessible for 6 months after cancellation... Most of the time, they are then made inaccessible....
"At SFR: as long as you regularly use your email account, your address remains available, even beyond the 6 months required by law. Note: after 45 days of inactivity, the receipt of emails is blocked, but the receipt of messages can be reactivated upon new login. If inactivity lasts 6 months, the inbox and email address are permanently deleted."
(See here: source)
In short, it’s better to save all the emails you want to keep on your PC....
See the advice here:

And to do it via GMail:
