Hello everyone, I bought a "Q 10" MEDIATEK GPS, but it didn't come with the maps of EUROPE.
I went to their official site "https://www.amznavmapupdate.com", to download them,
but it's impossible. Now, when I press navigate it says "SET THE ROUTE OF
DRIVING". What should I do??? THANK YOU.

Hello,
I think you're not providing all the complete references for this device.. Please specify whether it's a car GPS or a smartphone..??
Here is the site https://www.amznavmapupdate.com/a/case/US_Map_Download/2020/1018/62.html
Here’s what I have
This is a virtual item for package download. You don't need to purchase it.
Just scroll down to product details and choose the right country to download.
Please Click here to download the 2020 EUROPE speedcam files
The link http://www.amznavmapupdate.com/NAVI%20OZ%202020.zip gives me a 404 message, so the site no longer exists or is down.. I tried for other regions, and it's the same thing.
There is an email address service@amznavmapupdate.com where you could ask them what to do
That said, with a MediaTek processor and running Android Oreo, it should be possible to find maps that will work on it...
There is a very trendy GPS site http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?Group=3 -

Let's say that with this, I can't do anything... knowing the version of a program is good for those who have this GPS... But I can't even find the seller..
I don't know if it's on Android or Windows...
If it's a 7 inch or 9 or 10
If it works with the USA map.... or not.?
What Mediatek processor... because they make a lot of them...
There should be a model written on the manual or on the back of the GPS
Beyond that, I think it uses a known navigation system like Navigon or IGO for example... it would be interesting to know everything that is written for a USA map... it's a clue, to find the Europe map... I think it's on an SD or microSD memory card..?
In short, the goal is to learn a bit more to find my way around it. -
Please define the installation path: this is a question asked by the installation software, the user must indicate the installation directory

When I received it, I could navigate, but only with the wrong maps (USA, JAPAN, etc.). I tried to download Europe by connecting it to the computer, but I must have made a mistake, because when I touch "navigate," it shows "please set Navigation Path" and nothing happens. I believe I don't have the correct "ResidentFlash" license.

Here is a video in Spanish that shows the map change...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37BWCNlx9Ds
Indeed, as Redbart mentioned, it's about the folder paths... in "Residentflash"
However, I am very surprised, this GPS with "Mediatek 3551" microprocessor (I believe) seems to operate under Windows as a program "Primo.exe" is designed to run on Windows CE... While these processors equip many smartphones running Android... Mystery (???)
And also, he downloaded the map beforehand from the internet; it's a file that is unzipped in the microSD memory... So the issue mostly lies in finding where to download it... I think it's an IGO...
Here is a site that seems to contain European maps, to be downloaded in several parts
https://www.downturk.net/2853496-maps-igo-europe-here-maps-europe-in-2019q4.html
I don't know if it will do the trick... -
Hello, thank you for your advice. I had already seen the video (it's the same GPS). The site is paid and I'm not sure it works. Can you help me correct it step by step, if possible... because I'm not an expert. Thank you.

What costs money is the premium subscription to download..
There are three sites that have the files... Uploadgig.. Rapidgator and Nitroflare... If you visit them one after the other, only Nitroflare has the file... so you click on the first file on Nitroflare... The page presents you with two counters... And below the one on the left, "Slow Download" so slow download but free... it says 14 hours per 1GB file so you click there... A new page appears and offers "Purchase Premium" It suggests paying to go faster... In the upper right corner, it says "CLOSE" click on it to close this page... which brings you back to the download... Click in the middle on "Free Download" it presents you a Captcha where you have to say you are human and then recognize three images... Validate.
Then a double counter makes you wait two minutes... and you can finally click on "Download" to start downloading the file... Which is quite slow... 14 hours for the first... then 160 minutes before you can load another... the second one.
Since there are seven files to download, you'll take a week, with the same ceremony each time...
These are compressed RAR files... so you need to have the WinRar software to decompress and combine them... So you will be able to double click on the last file on the PC once you've downloaded it... And WinRar will take care of combining them into a single file for your memory card... Be careful: you must have enough space on your disk to do this...
So basically... 7 or 8 GB for the downloads and 10 GB to create the uncompressed file... It's quite tedious, but I haven't found anything else... otherwise buy the pre-made Europe map on Amazon... around a hundred euros... hoping it works... We're allowed to smile..
I think that's enough for today.. -
