Hello,
I used my JBL for 1.5 hours at full volume outside. Awesome... except now, I can't charge it at all. The red light stays on all the time when it's charging. And when I unplug it, no matter how much I press, it won’t turn on... even with the charger plugged in, it no longer works... I bought it second-hand... I'm afraid the battery is dead after I completely drained it... sucks... if anyone has a tip, I'm all ears :)

Hello,
The battery charging time with its power adapter is 3 hours, without usage; it needs to be turned off for it to charge properly.
If it doesn’t work, then access the battery by dismantling the speaker with a screwdriver; there’s a reference on the battery, just type it into Google and you’re good to go.
Ps:
A NiMH battery, like a lithium-ion battery, has a lifespan of 300 discharges at 100%. A lithium-polymer battery has a lifespan of 500 discharges at 100%.

Having the same problem, I was about to get the screwdriver (no visible screws: saved).
I eventually saw another message that advises pressing the PLAY, +, and POWER buttons simultaneously.
Miracle, the speaker turned back on!
