Indeed, a few hours before the "meeting".... the con artist will get back in touch with you, claiming they can't be present, but saying for example that their representative (or a certain person) will be on site.... but, to "guarantee" the transaction, they need to verify the validity of the coupons, and for that, they provide the web address of a verification site.....
A verification site, completely fake, created by the scammer themselves and that will serve to steal the coupons.... (untraceable, it should be remembered....) ... And of course, there will be no one at the meeting place... Moreover, the apartment, if it exists... is already occupied (advertisement stolen from the net...)

In short... to rent a property, you never make any advance payment... especially not with untraceable coupons... and of course, you don't share any copies of official documents....

Renting a house in Montceau-les-Mines (71), the people claim to be on a business trip and do not want to leave their house empty… nice photos, they do not want to provide the address before the day of the appointment for safety reasons! And on top of that, they're asking for the payment of the deposit and the first rent by transcash coupons!!!!
I suspected there was something fishy about it! The thing is they asked me for personal information, name, current city of residence, profession, income… fortunately, I didn’t provide any documents!!!! I’m still going to report this to the site of Le Bon Coin…
So be careful!!! Be cautious!

Regarding the security deposit, after compiling various information and regulations governing the sale or rental of properties between individuals in France, it results that: Payment will not be made in cash (physical money), here are the reasons: Not only is cash payment prohibited above a certain amount for transactions between private individuals (Sapin 2 law, definitively adopted on November 8, 2016. This law strengthened articles L112-6 and D112-3 of the monetary and financial code with a fine of €15,000 in case of non-compliance, law effective from January 1, 2016), on the other hand, I do not accept bank checks as I have been a victim of insufficient funds checks multiple times. Thus, the payment of the deposit will be made through 'TRANSCASH' recharge tickets, due to a problem with my bank account caused by a check deposit, I have temporarily been forbidden from receiving transfers by my bank. This means you will pay the deposit and the rent, which totals €1200 in 'TRANSCASH' recharge coupons; it is much more reliable and very secure. These recharges can be purchased at tobacco shops with cash or a credit card. Once you have bought these 'TRANSCASH' recharges, take a photo of these tickets while hiding the codes and send them to me, which will confirm the appointment with my notary. You will keep them carefully with you to hand them over to me in person at the appointment after the visit, verification, and signing of the lease.

On my side, after the rental is completed, I can deposit the recharges into my account (therefore, at no time will I be in contact with cash money or a check), you are fully secure and so am I. Since the security deposit is €1200, you will need to pay FOUR (4) 'TRANSCASH' recharge tickets of €250 each and one recharge of €200.

When you pay for these recharges before the visit, it does not mean that you are renting the accommodation without having seen it or without having visited it, NO! NO! AND NO! because without you having handed the recharges to me in person, we cannot in any way recharge our account to withdraw the money, so it’s only after you have visited it and found it suitable that you will give us the 'TRANSCASH' recharge tickets after signing the lease and handing over the keys.

In case of any issues, that is to say, if the apartment is not to your liking (which I would find very surprising), I will still take the 'TRANSCASH' tickets and return your €1200 in cash while cashing the recharges and then making a quick withdrawal at the counter with my 'TRANSCASH MASTERCARD'; it’s very simple.



ATTENTION THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT:

Normally, there should be no fee to pay for purchasing these 'TRANSCASH' tickets. At the request of the tobacco shop owners (to whom you want to pay for these recharges, do you know the person by sight, etc.), however, if you tell the seller of the 'TRANSCASH' tickets that you are buying these tickets to pay for rental expenses after the visit, the seller will apply the commercial VAT required by the state, especially when you are the first people to ask them questions or get information about how these recharges work. As a result, you will incur fees that will amount to €170, so be sure not to mention to the ticket seller that you intend to use these coupons to settle a rental transaction. Just tell them that you are purchasing these tickets only for PERSONAL USE and do not show them that this is your first attempt to buy these recharges.
