Hello, I have a problem with RAM sticks. When I install them, the PC starts up normally. But for example, when I try to put the cover back on the PC, it vibrates. It stops working and produces BIOS beeps. I have to reopen it, remove them, and put them back in for it to work. Sometimes, while it's running, the PC freezes. So I did a test by gently touching one of the sticks, and the PC BSODed. So there’s probably a loose connection. I tested the RAM with several software, and they function correctly. This happens with both sticks.

Thank you for your help

    Hello,

In principle, the vibrations may come from a fan (loose screws or blades unbalanced by dust). The cover would amplify these vibrations. See if it's possible to address this issue.

Otherwise, it would be surprising if the short circuit occurs on all connectors. Try to identify the faulty connector by connecting only one module.

Temporarily, put a piece of polystyrene to hold the modules in place with the cover closed.

    Best regards

I cleaned the connectors of the stick with a dry paper towel and vacuumed the inside of the slots with a vacuum cleaner, then I carefully reinserted them and put the cover back on as gently as possible. For now, it's working; I'm trying to avoid too much handling of the tower. We'll see in the future.
