Hello,
I built a PC last month with the following configuration:
- GIGABYTE B450 Gaming X motherboard
- Radeon RX 5600 XT - GAMING OC - 6 GB graphics card
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor
- CORSAIR VS650 650W power supply - 80 Plus
- 2*16GB DDR4 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM
Unfortunately, I frequently encounter a screen freeze followed by sound freezing, leading to a BSOD with the video TDR FAILURE error.
I reinstalled the graphics card using DDU, with no success.
I tested versions 20.4.2 and 20.9.1 (the latest) of the RADEON software, neither of which resolved the issue.
Windows update says my operating system is also up to date.
These crashes occur:
- when I watch a video on YouTube (regardless of the browser used), consistently.
- when I use 3D drawing/design software (FREECAD, 3DSMax), consistently as well.
- when I play League of Legends/Teamfight Tactics, regularly but not consistently.
They can also occur completely randomly (sometimes on Excel or for no reason at all).
However, I was surprised to notice that they never happen when I play certain games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice or No Man's Sky, with graphics set to maximum, for several hours straight.
Do you have any solutions or additional testing ideas to find the source of the problem?
Thank you.
