Hello, well I have some problems with my CPU which is set to turbo mode by the manufacturer, and I would like to remove that. The base speed is 3.6 and the turbo mode is set to 4.6, so when I launch a good game it can heat up to 80 or even 85
So how can I reduce the intensity
Thank you CentauriFox

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 85.0.4183.102

What is your CPU (brand and model)? And what cooling system are you using (brand and model)?

Yes! But which brand and model? Instead of looking for an underlocker on your CPU, you need to check if it is properly cooled.

Uhm, what does that mean? The brand? Coffee Lake or?

It's obvious that I'm not talking about Intel 7 / 9700k. I know it's an Intel Core i7 9700K. My question is about the cooler.

    Hello,
    to downclock
your motherboard needs to support it (Z chipset), so you can reduce the frequency via the BIOS (an Intel application or motherboard utility might allow it from Windows).

Otherwise, a less risky method is to reduce the "power" of the processor in the advanced power management settings > processor power management > maximum processor state, you can lower this percentage.

What Epango is trying to figure out is why you have such high temperatures.

I forgot to mention in the bios that I would like to change the GHz
    Thank you
