How to know if the CPU is faulty?

Hello,
one day, while I was browsing quietly on Chrome, the computer crashed. I tried to reboot, but nothing was displayed, not even the BIOS. I checked my screen and HDMI cable with a Raspberry, everything is fine on that side.
I then connected the bare minimum, namely the RAM and CPU, but still nothing, even when connecting just one stick in a slot I don’t usually use.
Moreover, I tested my CPU on another motherboard, but again, nothing happened.
I thought it might be the power supply, but checking with a multimeter showed that all the different voltages are fine.
The only thing left is the CPU, but I've never heard of a CPU burning out like that without overclocking, especially since right after turning off the computer when it crashed, the CPU was cold (around 20 - 30 degrees). Is it possible that the CPU is dead, or should I check something else?

That seems pretty clear... you were lucky enough to be able to do this test and it didn't yield results.

Same here. That's actually why I've been into crazy overclocking for the past 4 years. No dead CPUs on my watch, no reports about that.

Ah yes, to be more precise, the CPU is an Intel 8500, and the motherboards are respectively an MSI B360 and an Asus PRIME B360.
But having not changed the power supply between the different tests, I wonder if the problem could still come from the latter even though I tested it with a multimeter... And it's an EVGA 450W. -
