Coaxial cable and ETC socket

Hello,

I don't know if this is the right forum to pose my problem, but I'm going for it anyway, hoping to find an answer.

I would like to install a box at home, and for that, I need to connect a coaxial cable to a wall socket of the ETC type. At first, I searched everywhere in my apartment but couldn't find one (I'm a tenant), and it was only later that I spotted a coaxial cable behind the TV. The TV is pressed up against the wall, so it's not easy to see what's behind it.

I removed the cable in question and tried to plug in the one I was provided, both with and without an adapter, but I couldn't make it work... I even tried to connect the two cables together, but it didn't work.

I'm thinking that the socket the first coaxial cable was connected to might not be an ETC socket, or it only accepts certain types of cables.

On the original cable, it says: 5C2V COAXIAL CABLE 75 DHM

And on the one provided to me: COAXIAL CABLE EUROTECHNOCOM CLASS A

I'm attaching all the photos for more clarity: the socket I managed to photograph as best as I could, the cable that was already connected and is white, as well as the cable that was provided to me with and without its adapter.

P.S.: I called customer service, but they told me that they could charge me €60 if the technician didn't find any issues while installing my box, so I want to make sure I can do it myself before spending such an amount...

A HUGE thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond, and have a great day.

Hello,

Typically, a triple TV/FM/SAT socket looks like this:

The box (it should be SFR, it's the only one available in coaxial) should be plugged into the TV socket. It's worth trying the SAT socket; it might be wired that way, and the socket is the right type, screw-in.

If the SAT socket doesn't work, then it's for the TV socket. But you would need an adapter (female screw/TV female) or (TV female/TV female) in addition to the one you have to connect to the wall TV socket.

Regards
