Right PS4 joystick moves up on its own

Hello,

I had a v1 controller that worked for years, but the right joystick started to move on its own (first in battle royale games only, then in FPS games in general, and now it’s starting to happen in all types of games).
I then bought a new ds4 v2 controller, but the same problem persists; I tried adjusting the dead zone in some games like Call of Duty and it didn’t change anything... I also tried connecting them via cable while disabling Bluetooth, but the problem continues! I even tried completely reinstalling the PS4, and it didn’t make a difference.
Thanks to anyone who has an idea of what to do.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem, new controller (v2) and the aiming reticle moves up by itself, with occasional right/left shifts. I also tried using it wired, but nothing works. I'm hesitant to buy a joystick to change it directly, what do you think?

In games, they often have Dead Zones in the settings; basically, the higher the Dead Zone, the less your joystick will respond if you want it to move a little upwards. If your joystick moves a bit up but the Dead Zone is around 20 or 30, it all depends on the game.
