Alcatel f630, how to mute the ringtone?

Hello, as mentioned in the title, there's no way to mute the sound, the manual doesn't mention it. However, it shows the mute icon!
If anyone can help me, thank you in advance.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 84.0.4147.125

Hello,  I also got fooled by the F630, it's impossible to turn off the ringtone and on top of that there's a huge delay with the ringtone. Very bad phone.

I found the solution, but it's really not practical!
You have to wait to receive a call, and when the ringtone sounds, that's when you can lower or increase the volume and even mute it (the icon finally shows up on the handset). And this setting is saved for the next calls.
So, every time I want to mute the phone (I work at night), I'll have to call myself with my mobile...

I have the same issue with this phone model, and I don't understand how you manage to mute the sound during a call. The "-" button on the handset lowers the volume but doesn’t cut it off completely... Thank you in advance for your help.

I did the same operation but I can only lower the volume, I can't turn it off... and the strikethrough note doesn't appear on the screen. Damned phone... Thanks anyway for your help, I will keep looking for a solution.

Same here, I can't find the 'silent' mode...
On the Alcatel website, the description clearly states: Alcatel F630 allows you to adjust the handset volume (5 choices) and offers 10 ring tones adjustable to 5 levels + the option to mute the ringer.

During a call, the '-' button lowers the volume down to 1, but not to 0... :-(
