Line busy: why does my phone ring busy?

I was on my home phone and now it's on my cell.

Hello, I have the same issue as you. My landline is new; before it worked perfectly, and suddenly, boom, it sounds busy when I want to dial a number, even people who want to reach me get a busy signal. I called Orange customer service, they say there’s no problem, my light is green on my livebox, I’ve reconnected, removed the batteries, etc... nothing works. I’m paying full price for my subscription, and I can’t use my landline, so I’m calling with my mobile, but the bill adds up quickly. I don’t understand anything at all, it’s really starting to irritate me. Have a good day.

It hasn't worked with my Livebox, it's been three days that the line is busy both ways :(

Same problem for months, I'm fed up, I don't know what to do anymore, customer service tells me there's no issue with my line, my phone is brand new, as is my livebox.

Thank you for responding, but my problem is that I don't want to change operators because it will cost me too much, meaning termination fees, etc. In short, I can't take it anymore. I also have a mobile, so I am paying for 2 charges: "SFR" and "Orange" for "internet" that I am using, but I have no PHONE, IT'S ANNOYING!!! And people who call me are telling me that I should file a lawsuit? What do you think, because with all the complaints I've read, it's not looking good for them to come and see my phone problem? For the past few days, my Sagem D45W phone connected to the Livebox has been busy, and it's really frustrating. I removed the batteries, unplugged the USB from the Livebox, then put everything back—nothing. I unplugged the Livebox directly and plugged it back after 5 seconds, and still nothing; the indicator is on red on the Livebox, but my phone remains busy whenever I try to use it. I'm really fed up with Orange.
