Farm Heroes Saga. Using Boosters

I uninstalled the game from my phone, reinstalled it, and logged back in with Facebook, and I recovered my boosters.

It seems that one of the reasons for the problem is the amount of RAM memory in older devices (2GB while the newer ones have between 3 and 6GB) and the app needs 2GB or more)
The solution I found to remove those damn locks and retrieve the boosters is as follows:
You must be connected to Wi-Fi.
1. Back up the game before resetting it:
- From the mobile device, load the game but do not play!
- When the device shows "PLAY", click on the "Login" button located just below... but sometimes this button is not displayed. In this case, click on the circle button located far left and select "My profile".
- A screen will allow you to choose to log in either to the King website with a personal email address or to Facebook.
In this example, I choose the King login.
- If you already have a login, enter it now
- otherwise you need to create a "King Account": enter a valid email address; a password; your first name then your last name, then confirm. (logging in will automatically save the game)
- Exit the game.

2. Reset the game:
Note: the procedure below may vary slightly depending on the brand and type of device.
- Go to the device settings
- In the left panel, scroll down to "Application Manager"
- In the right panel, execute the following steps:
- click on "Stop the application"
- click on "Clear cache"
- click on "Delete data", and confirm by clicking "OK"
- wait a few seconds during the "recalculating" process
- exit settings

3. Recover the game level:
- Load the game again, but do not play!
- If an app update is offered, you need to install it.
- If the "Login" button is displayed, click on it, otherwise you need to click on the circle button located far left and select "My profile".
Note: if this circle button is not displayed either, you can click on "PLAY" to display the "Menu". There is then a "Gear" icon (settings) in the top left bar, which allows you to go to "My profile".
- In the displayed screen, choose the King login.
- If the login is prompted, then log in... but sometimes that’s not the case (probably a bug!),
in this case, you need to pretend to create a new account: re-enter all the requested information and then confirm. The program will then display that the account already exists and will (finally!) show a link to log in... you log in!
Once connected, all the app settings saved in point 1 will be retrieved except unfortunately the boosters which are reset to 1.
- Click on "PLAY" to resume the game where you left off.
- It is only when you have finished a level AND successfully completed it that Farm Heroes Saga remembers the current level number as well as many other parameters... so you must absolutely succeed in this game level before exiting and logging out of King!

Hello, I'm in the same situation, but it seems that this is not the case for everyone, let me explain:
I have 2 Samsung tablets: an old Galaxy TAB 4 (running Android 4.4.2) and a newer Galaxy S2 (Android 6).
With the newer one: no problem and no locks (I'm on game 989); but with the old one, since mid-September (game 1089), all the boosters have been replaced by locks (and like you, impossible to do anything with them!).
Having already experienced issues with recent applications (or updates) on older devices, I'm wondering if the older devices (which continue to download all sorts of updates via WI-FI without asking for our opinion!) have become too "old" with the latest update of Farm Heroes Saga... many applications refuse to work (or even to install) if the mobile device doesn't have at least Android 6...
Tell me: what tablet (or smartphone) model are you using and what is its OS (Android version or other)

If anyone has found a solution, I'd obviously be interested (tired of going in circles on the same game with no boosters!)
