Put a Facebook profile picture while keeping the "likes". Solved

Question

Good evening,  I posted a photo in the "journal photo" album that I would now like to set as my profile picture. Whenever I click on "set as profile picture," I'm asked to crop it, and the "likes" and comments get deleted. I would like to know if you know how to set an already existing photo from another album as my profile picture without losing the "likes."  Thank you very much in advance!  Clara.

Thank you for your help! I've read everything, but they simply explain how to revert to an old profile picture without losing the "likes" and comments. I would like to set a photo from another album (from my timeline) as my profile picture without losing the "likes" myself. In other words, is it possible to move a photo from another album to the profile pictures album while keeping the "likes"?

Hi,  I found the same problem as yours, but the answer to it is negative...  https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-26758118-comment-mettre-une-photo-de-profil-gardant-les-j-aimes  apparently it is impossible to keep the likes of a photo from an album when setting it as a profile picture.

Hi there ;)  I had the same problem not too long ago, but actually it’s really simple. I’m going to explain it as if you were 5 years old: - First, go to your profile - Hover over your profile picture and click on the phrase that appears "update your photo, etc..." - Then click on your desired photo  And your likes and comments will still be there.
