Hello,

It's been about 2 months since I've had my Hyper X Cloud Alpha microphone, but the microphone is not detected by the computer, an ACER Nitro AN5-515, which only has a jack plug like the headset.
I don't know if it's normal, but when I check the sound settings in the control panel, it shows up like this (and not as a microphone...).
I then checked to see if it worked on another computer (a HP), and in the end, both the headset AND the microphone were operational on that PC and not on mine.
I looked for alternative solutions, including reinstalling my Realtek audio driver, trying an older version of the driver to see if it would detect it, as well as checking if the privacy settings for the microphone were preventing its detection, but nothing changes.

I am therefore calling on your expertise to help me resolve this technical issue.

I found it, it's all good! I had to install the audio manager manually since my computer had a Dolby Audio software (for movies, which I uninstalled) that removed the Realtek audio manager and thus activated my mic.
