Crosscall problem

Hello
I bought a CROSSCALL Trekker-M1 Core in May 2019.
In May 2020, during a paddle outing, I fell into the water twice with the phone in my pocket. You can imagine that I didn’t go below a meter and that I only stayed in the water for a few minutes, just enough time to get back on my paddle.
When I got home, I found that the device no longer worked. So, I sent it back to CROSSCALL's customer service because it is "supposedly" under a 2-year warranty.
I was surprised to receive a response from CROSSCALL stating that the warranty would not apply because they considered the device had no defects and that I must have used it abnormally for it to stop working. No further explanation (what abnormal use? I have no idea).
However, when you consult their site, in the specifications of the device, it states: Waterproof to freshwater, seawater, and dust, the TREKKER-M1 Core is airtight in any environment. Waterproof to freshwater, seawater, and dust, the TREKKER-M1 Core is airtight in any environment. False advertising.

The CROSSCALL brand should be avoided at all costs. Run away as fast as you can when you see this name. The devices are worthless and the customer service consists only of a bunch of incompetent people.
Are there any other members who have experienced the same type of problem with this brand?

Hello
the features regarding waterproofing should always be taken with a grain of salt, it's very rock and roll, it's a bit like the fuel consumption for new cars provided by manufacturers! Unless you start a lawsuit for false advertising, and that's far from easy, there's not much to do. Personally, as a surfcasting fisherman, I bought a waterproof pouch after I made two smartphones take a dive!!!
