Generate list of tables and figures in Pages (Mac)

Hello,

I'm having trouble automatically generating the list of figures and tables in my Pages document. I've applied a "Style" to each caption, but when I go to "Insert" -> "Table of Contents" -> "Documents" and select the style in question, nothing shows up. I've double-checked and the style is applied to each caption. Maybe I'm not using the right method?

If someone could help me, I would be very grateful!!
