Panasonic DMC GX80 Screen Replacement Gone Wrong...

Hello,

I broke my LCD screen after a shock. After a quote of 250€ for the repair (there's also a button on the back that is a bit stuck), I decided to buy a screen online and install it myself.
Knowing that the device was working at the beginning of the process, I had a partial image on the screen and an intact one in the viewfinder, I could take pictures... Anyway, the device was working.
I started the replacement yesterday, which I believed was successful. I think I reconnected everything correctly. Then I tried to turn on my device and: NOTHING. The indicator light does not turn on and the device does not respond at all.
I tried to charge it. The charging light comes on and then goes off when the charge is complete. But that's it.
Let's just say I am totally freaking out and regret starting this process.
Can someone help me? I can send pictures for more precision.
I downloaded this document that I found in a forum, but I don't know what to look for in it.

I am used to repairing my phone's breaks, but this is the first time I am touching a camera...

    It seems quite simple to replace..
    However,
    Did you buy the right screen reference? (there can be differences in terms of connectivity or power supply) Make sure it's the same screen reference.
    The other possibility is the connections. The mini electrical ribbons are fragile to remove and reinsert... Check carefully for any cuts with a magnifying glass.
    And all repairs should be done with the battery removed, of course...

    No, I did not check the references at the time of installation, but the connections were exactly the same.
    What I don't understand is that even if it’s not the right screen, when I turn on the device, the power indicator should at least light up, right?
    I will double-check the connections.
    Yes, I had removed the battery, even though I don't know why it needs to be removed? Could the battery be the problem? How can I check that?

    If the screen is not the same, it may have a different display command which can crash everything else.. You may also have misaligned a power cable which could cause a short circuit.. nothing lights up.. etc..

    Disassemble it again and check that it still partially works with the old screen.. If it doesn't work, you'll need to look elsewhere...

    After analyzing the connections, there was a ribbon cable that was inserted the wrong way...
    The device powers on again
    HOWEVER
    1. The new screen is broken... product purchased from a Chinese site...
    2. The buttons on the back are not functioning correctly... it seems there is a mismatch: the A button triggers an action of the R button, the B button triggers an action of the C button, etc.
    I put the old screen back on but it's not any better.

    Is this a reset issue? Or did I break something??

    Breaking the device might not be an option, but improperly connecting a ribbon cable... maybe...

    As for the screen... it is advisable to check its condition thoroughly before assembly... difficult to make claims afterward...
