Hello,
Outlook allows the user to modify the subject of a received message.
I am currently looking, in vain for the moment, how to do the same thing with Thunderbird.
Could someone tell me how to do it?

A module to edit email subjects to facilitate archiving: EditEmailSubject
https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/edit-email-subject/-

Thank you for your response. This is indeed the best we can do.
What remains is that the sender's address is modified compared to the original message, but I don't see any other solutions. -
The post is old but for those interested there is:
TB_Header_Tools_Extension to download here:

Hello, I use TB2.0 (I had antivirus problems when upgrading to version 3). When I try to install the TB_header_tools module, I can't download it to save it. Firefox shows a message saying it can't install because the updates are not secure. I just want to save it. What’s Firefox getting involved for?
