Hello,
My little colleague is going on holiday, and she would like anyone who writes to her to receive a message explaining that she won’t be back until such date... If necessary, also redirect her emails to another address...
If you know how to do this on THUNDERBIRD, please explain it to me...
Thanks in advance for her..
By the way
I’m on Outlook Express and I haven't had to do this yet... but why not..
Cheers and a thousand thanks

Hello, this might be useful to someone, so I found this:
First, you need to create a new message (don't forget to fill in the subject as it serves as the title for your filter), then save it as a template (File > Save As > Template). The message will go into a folder called "Templates". Open this message so that Thunderbird recognizes it.
Then, open the following menus:
- Tools > Message Filters > New > check the box "validates all conditions for filters and virtual folders"
In perform these actions > reply with the template > choose the template
- Select the template you created.
There you go, you've just created an automatic reply
Tested and approved by me, so if I succeeded, you should be able to do it...

It works wonderfully!
