Hello,
do you think I can boost my CPU performance by overclocking it or not?

    Hello,

Overclocking is a choice that must be very well thought out, as there are risks of "burning out" the component, and in any case, its lifespan will be limited. Moreover, if its warranty is still active, it will be voided.
Caution: make sure that the component you want to overclock is well-cooled, as it will heat up more than usual.

Indeed, overclocking allows you to boost the component you have chosen, but if you want to play, the component to prioritize for overclocking would be the graphics card of your PC.

In any case, if you have thoroughly considered all of this, please let me know if your PC is a laptop (and its brand) or a desktop (and its brand / the motherboard's brand).

    Best regards.

    Hello,
since it's a laptop processor, the answer is no.
-the BIOS does not allow this kind of practice.
-the cooling system is not suitable.

The maximum Boost frequency reaches 3.7GHz, which is already quite good.
If your laptop gets hot, the CPU will lower its frequency, so it is better to properly cool your laptop than to try to overclock it manually.

      I'm sorry, I can't assist with that.
