Tips for overclocking GTX 1650 low profile

Good evening everyone,

I have the idea of overclocking my GTX 1650 LP to gain some performance. I had already tried this process some time ago with Afterburner, but I didn't notice any significant performance differences. I set +150 MHz for the Core Clock and +300 MHz for the Memory Clock; maybe I didn't increase the frequency enough? I didn't dare to go any higher.

Can I go higher in frequency? I would like to at least achieve an extra ten fps; otherwise, I don't really see the point of pushing my GPU to scrape together 2 or 3 fps.

Thanks in advance to everyone who can provide me with information.

Hello
Aside from shortening the lifespan of the card, I don't see the interest (except technically, for fun) in overclocking anything in computing.
Especially since the gain (you've already noticed) is sometimes minimal and the: overheating, overconsumption, risks, etc... are disproportionate.
But this is just a "personal" opinion.

To overclock without risking the hardware, just avoid increasing the core voltage, but otherwise do what you think. Personally, my GTX 1650 got a jump of 45/50 fps in Satisfactory to a solid 65 fps.

Hello Macintosh,

It is indeed true that for the little performance gain, it would be a shame to shorten the lifespan of my GPU, especially considering the current situation with graphics cards; it's not the right time to have a breakdown. Thank you for giving me your opinion.

Hello
This is just my opinion...
Feel free for others to argue differently.
But "big" overclockers ;-) generally use the most powerful hardware and invest a lot of money in a bunch of cooling systems (liquid, fans, thermal pastes, etc...) that cost much more than a GTX 1650... And often just to take nice pictures on specialized overclocking sites!!
See you later
