Hello,
I am trying to cancel my myCANAL subscription, which is normally under contract until 31/05/2021. I sent a cancellation letter to Canal but received no response. I have tried to call them and have never been able to reach anyone on the phone. Therefore, I decided to block the various withdrawals from Canal with my bank. As a result, my Canal account has been suspended. I have just received a letter from a bailiff mandated by Canal for a payment notice asking me to pay an amount of €27 (if payment is not made, the definitive termination of my contract may be pronounced). I contacted the bailiff to inform them that I refuse to pay, and they told me: "you refuse to pay, okay that's noted," and then they hung up on me...
Should I be worried? The letter clearly states that if I do not pay the amount, the definitive termination of my contract may be pronounced. No other threats.

I assume you sent the termination letter by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt and that you received written confirmation or the receipt which you have kept as the only proof of your termination; otherwise, it will be complicated to get a counselor by phone.. have them call you! https://assistance.canalplus.com/questions/1651857-resilier-abonnement-canal-engagement -
