I just bought an Alcatel Versatis 630 Voice phone. However, when people call me and leave a message, nothing stays on the answering machine. I am connected to FREE, is there a specific setup I need to do? Thank you

I bought an Alcatel Versatis 630 voice. I have the same issue, messages are not being recorded on the voicemail on the Orange internet messaging service. Additionally, I can't delete the dialed numbers. Can anyone help me?

Same problem. My answering machine is activated yet we always end up on a voicemail which I have no way of calling, at least I don't know how.
Note: I have a low-speed Club Internet connection that is not linked to the phone.

I have the same problem. I just bought the Alcatel Versatis 630 voice phone and I plugged it into my Alice box (it was written on the box that it was compatible with ADSL boxes). I can receive and make calls without any problem.

However, the answering machine does not activate after 4 rings as I instructed it to. When someone calls me, they always reach the Alice voicemail after 6 or 7 rings, and I don't know how to check this voicemail (#123 does not work). That's why I wanted a phone with a built-in answering machine; it would simplify my life!!!

Please help us!!! I've been working on this for three days and I can't take it anymore!

Even if it seems simple to someone, please do not hesitate to help, we would be very grateful, as we really cannot find any solution!

I am subscribed to NOOS Telecom and they assure me that the problem does not come from them:
For a long time, I could only make calls and did not receive any calls. I thought it was due to the internet line, and after reporting it, NOOS did something, but now the issue is that I receive calls and can no longer make calls, which is quite ironic for an unlimited phone... I don't know what to do anymore; NOOS assures me it's not on their end, so I wonder if the problem could come from the phone. Is there any action to take?

As for the answering machine, setting it to 3 rings prevents the service provider's message from starting before that, I can confirm. For the ringtone settings, you need to hold down the answering button. That's it.

If the Versatis no longer rings, it needs to be sent for repair. Claim the warranty.  They changed the capacitors for me, and now it works again.  Handling time is less than a week...

I had this problem with my 630 and 830. I solved it by disabling - the tax saver - the alert mode You also need to set the number of rings to 4, as the "box" answering machines often trigger after 4 rings.  That's what I did to be able to use the answering machine of my Alcatel Versatis 830 voice.  I hope to help some people with this procedure.  Best regards.
