TV that turns on by itself

I would like to understand if this is normal or not. I have a Samsung television (I don't know the model), I turned it off, and about an hour later I woke up because I could hear it. It had turned itself back on. I then tried to turn it off by pressing the button on the television, but it wouldn't turn off. I then tried with the remote control, same thing. I ended up unplugging it. I would like to know if this is normal. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Good evening,
No, it's not normal, try doing a "reset" or "factory reset" or "initial setup" (see menu) but you will have to go through the entire installation and settings again.
If you can't find it in the menu, press and hold the "exit" button on the remote for more than ten seconds, a menu will open, scroll down to "reset factory" or something like that and press OK
