Delivery issue "post office" - Colissimo

Hello,
I ordered an item from a private seller on Le Bon Coin, and the sale went well. The sender shipped my package via Colissimo.
However, the package has not arrived since April 30th, and the tracking has been stuck since day one on "Your package was dropped off too late at a post office to leave today. It will leave tomorrow."
The tracking has been stuck on this message for a week. I tried calling the post office, and the operator told me it probably stayed at the first postal point and that it was up to the sender to go back there and/or file a complaint online (which he will do).
I would like to know if anyone has experienced this situation before? With this unusual tracking. (Photo attached)
