There's no need to look any further !!!!
The ink has been dry in the print head for quite some time; if you want to print again, you will need to be patient and proceed with a cleaning, especially with the removal of this solidified ink.
The first thing to do is to remove the cartridges; if they are also over a year old, forget them and throw them away immediately.
Next, get a small syringe and distilled or demineralized water, it doesn't matter as long as it's free from impurities, and place a few drops in the opening where the ink enters the print head from the cartridges, then let it sit. Do this one evening, and the next day, suck those drops out with the syringe and repeat the process over a few days; the more often you do this, the better your chances of being able to print afterwards.
When you feel you have done what is necessary, get cartridges from the brand and install them. There’s a high probability that the first prints won’t meet your expectations; this phenomenon should diminish as usage continues.
In the event you manage to save it this way, don't wait a year to print again; do one every now and then!
