    look at this: 

    CANON PIXMA MP540 / MP550 / MP560 / MP620 / MP630 / MP640 / MP980 / MP990 / MX860 / MX870: Find the software online "Service Mode Tool Version 1.050." Turn off the printer. Press the "resume" button and the "power" button for about 5 seconds. Release the "Resume" button, and while keeping the "Power" button pressed, press "Resume" twice; Release the "Power" button. Open the downloaded software. Select "SET CLEAR WASTE INK" and choose "MAIN" to reset the counters to 0. Select the value "0". Click on "??" at the bottom right to confirm. Turn off the printer and turn it back on.
