Hello everyone,
Earlier this evening, I dropped my ACER TRAVELMATE P2 BLACK P2410-G2-M-57D8 laptop from a height of just over a meter (it was also turned on). Of course, when I tried to turn it back on, the screen didn't work anymore, although the indicators showing it was functioning lit up.
I then tried to connect my laptop to my TV with an HDMI cable, and I noticed that everything displayed normally on my TV. This led me to deduce that the problem is likely with the screen and/or the associated components, particularly the graphics card, based on what I've read online.
Therefore, I would like to know if there is a solution at my level to solve this problem, given that my electronics skills are quite limited, and my laptop is new (purchased three months ago) and I would like to avoid additional costs as much as possible, since I haven't finished paying for it.
Thank you very much in advance for any suggestions you might have!

Hello,
the graphics card is normally not affected since you have display on your TV, it would be more the screen that seems broken, do you have any lighting on the screen?
try to see with a lamp if there are any cracks on the screen.
falls are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty (although as long as there are no visible physical damages it might pass, but still..), so if you send it to Acer they can repair it but it will be at a cost, not to mention that it will take at least 2 weeks for the repair
otherwise it is possible to order a screen and change it yourself, you might be able to find it on https://topclavier.com, but they will need the serial number behind the screen panel, and since it's a recent laptop it’s not at all certain that they have it.
