Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out hoping that you could provide me with some information and even help me.
So I have a PS4 Pro that has been freezing in games for the past two days, even during startup and in the menu, and it has turned off suddenly in the middle of a game!
So I decided to restore the database, which didn't change anything afterward, so I decided to simply reset my PS4 but...
So I start the reset and 30 minutes before the end of this reset, an error message appears saying that I need to reinstall the system software, and that it can't access the storage system. So I tried again a second time and it worked, but from there I started to encounter more and more issues: the PS4 starts up very slowly, freezes, and turns off directly, the blue light blinks, turns white, and goes back to blue, and also every time I turn the PS4 back on, there's the storage system loading that sometimes freezes. So my question is: where does this problem come from? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Yes, it definitely looks like a hard drive issue. Therefore, recovering your data also seems compromised.
Do you have a spare hard drive lying around to try before investing: maybe an old laptop somewhere? It just needs to be a 2.5" and SATA.

This one comes from my PS4, so I have a 500G PS4; I will still try its hard drive.
