Hello,
Hello!
I just bought a
SHARP 55" Ultra-HD Smart TV
and I can't find the apps I download from the internet, such as Spotify. How can I add the apps of my choice, like Spotify, to those you offer?
When I access the catalog on my TV, I only have access to the pre-installed apps: Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Acquos Net +
No VEWD app store... Where can I find apps like those on the Google Play Store and HOW do I download them?
When I access the internet, I can add links like Spotify but can't download the apps needed for those services. For example, with Spotify, I can access my playlists and albums, but I can only listen to 30 seconds of each track (no song is fully available).
The internet is indeed connected to my TV (proof: test done in the settings and search engines like Google are accessible).
Looking forward to hearing from you!!!
Thank you in advance!
Best regards
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 13.1

Hello Louise,
When it comes to apps, manufacturers and broadcasters do whatever they want. Personally, I have an LG, and at first, I had an Orange app that provided access to a lot of radio stations, but it was removed out of the blue after an update. For catch-up TV, I had Pluzz (public service replay) and Arte +7, both also gone. As for MyTF1, I only have the paid VOD option. On the M6 replay site, I'm asked to download a "player," but "download impossible." It's all a matter of agreements with the app owners and the TV brand; it's about money, so these TVs aren't as smart as they seem, huh? ...;-(
And Arte came back a while ago... go figure...

Thank you!
Is there really no way to add apps like Spotify to the 4 (which is really very few) pre-installed ones (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Acquos Net +)???
I'm really disappointed with this purchase...

Me too, and this connected function is only valid for device updates via the network.

Thank you!
It must be possible to add other applications than the "only" 4 pre-installed ones (paid - and uninteresting to my taste - except for YouTube) !!!!!???? Otherwise, what is the point of buying an internet-connected television!!!??? There must be a trick, especially since I was able to watch streaming movies (via the site I usually use) for the first 3 days and I can no longer do so now.
