Panasonic TV stuttering issues help :'(...

Hello,

I experience stutter in the image on my Panasonic 4K OLED screen (also on my old Panasonic HD screen) through the HDMI connections (PS4, movie from a computer), and while rummaging through the settings (intelligent frame creation), I never managed to solve this problem... I once watched a movie on a Sony 4K screen via a computer, and the image was as smooth as on my computer screen.

Is it a brand issue? It would be a shame for a recent television... and take care during the lockdown, stay strong.

Does the problem persist after restoring the default display settings?
It's not an issue with the brand, which has a very good reputation.

yes yes even without touching the settings... how to explain then that the same configuration works on a Sony screen and not for 2 Panasonic screens... is it not a technical specificity?

I saw this on a test site: "We will not dwell on the gaming capabilities of this TV and for good reason, Panasonic doesn't seem to have made any particular effort to optimize the OLED panel. Connected to our PS4 Pro, the TV handles the titles we tested it with adequately. Adequately, as we sometimes notice image tearing when, with Kratos, we sprint through the God Of War universe while panning the landscape."

So I have image tearing...

Additionally, I found a "film cadence" mode which I suppose switches the TV to 24 fps mode (which could fix my image tearing issue when I play a movie through my computer), but I can’t activate it when I’m on HDMI, only on TV channels (I remind you that I don’t notice any issues in TV mode).

Hello,
The stutters you’re experiencing are probably not frame tears; it’s typical of OLED panels with 30fps games.
I had the same sensation while playing God of War; it feels like micro-stutters during camera movements. Setting motion blur to maximum in the game will help smooth things out.
Few people talk about it, but OLEDs are great for playing at 60fps, but not at 30fps.
The perfect responsiveness of OLEDs doesn’t help with camera movements. The problem doesn’t exist on LCD panels because there’s motion blur that gives an impression of streaking instead of mini-stutters.
