WiFi key connection issue.

Hello everyone, first of all, thank you for taking the time to read my post.
I built a computer in a tower and therefore had to buy a wifi dongle to surf the internet. It's an Archer T3U AC1300 from tp-link that connects via USB 3.0. My problem is that the internet connection keeps dropping. The computer disconnects without any notification or anything, and I then have to manually disconnect from the network and reconnect.
The dongle is plugged into a 3.0 port; when I request a driver update from the computer, it says that I have the latest drivers for the dongle, and when I go to the brand's website to download them manually, the site cannot find the model of my dongle, so I can't do it myself.
I hope you can help me. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Noé

Hi
I assembled a computer in a tower
there is indeed the possibility to connect via Ethernet (by cable)
and so I had to buy a wifi adapter to be able to browse the internet. It’s an Archer T3U AC1300 from TP-Link that connects via USB 3.0
is your PC far from the router?
are there any interferences (walls/appliances, etc.) between the router and the PC?

Indeed, there is this possibility, but I don't want to spend money right away to make a hole, etc. The only obstacle is the floor; my tower is directly above the box and placed on the ground.

I don't know if you'll really have a choice...
The only obstacle is the floor; my tower is directly above the box and resting on the ground.
It's quite enough to disrupt the connection between the Wi-Fi adapter and your PC (the distance for instance)
Do you not have any alerts in the device manager (? or /!\) yellow

No, everything seems fine and moreover, my laptop picks up the wifi without any problem and with "full bars" when in the same spot.
1 laptop with its wifi card, and 1 desktop with a USB wifi adapter, may not receive the same "strength" of signal
does your laptop never lose the connection?

Hey,
To start, happy holidays to everyone, and I’d like to know if your issue is resolved?
I also got the T3U, which by the way worked extremely well at the beginning of its installation—238Mb/s in download. Super happy, I moved my box by running a 30m fiber optic cable. I thought with 5G it would go even higher.
So, I replugged everything, 850Mb/s on ethernet, everything was fine until then. I configured my box with the usual restrictions. And then nothing... All my other devices are handling the new settings well even though sometimes it’s tough, but no problems I can’t solve.
The dongle connects and disconnects by itself from the 5G regardless of the channel (36, 40...)
Only the 2.4GHz works with a latency that's more than respectable but an ADSL speed. Seriously, it seems that the Livebox is optimal on auto but pretty useless if we change the channels...
That’s it, I reset the Livebox to factory settings (the only known solution so far) and there’s still the same issue, the dongle disconnects and reconnects by itself even on 2.4...
Running the Windows network troubleshooter, and miracle, it works again... I don’t understand anything and I’m fed up looking, the speed is worse than what was advertised at the beginning of the adventure: 60 in dl.
At least it’s working again... If that can help you.
