Hello,
I just changed my computer and wanted to install, instead of the trial version of Office 365, a version of Office 2016.
So I uninstalled the trial version via the application manager and then tried to install my Office 2016.
Each time I attempt to install it, I get a message saying that I cannot install my version due to the pre-installed one (which no longer appears in the list of installed programs and is not present in the file manager).
After rebooting and trying again, I installed Ccleaner and Iobit uninstaller.
After cleaning with Ccleaner and scanning with Iobit, I still can't install my version of Office.
I also scanned the registry for Office: there are many references still present, but I'm hesitant to delete them.
Any suggestions?

I installed the Ms uninstallation tool but I got the same response as before! Even though it indicated that Office was successfully uninstalled!
I simplified the issue a bit: actually, I'm trying to install Office remotely on my daughter's computer using Ms Remote Assistance. Could it be that the remote troubleshooting is blocking the installation?
