Hello; I want to buy a mid-range gaming headset; I have €90; and I'm hesitating between headsets that have Jack or USB connections, some say that USB is the best connector for gaming, others say it's the same.
N.B: I'm torn between the Asus Rog Delta Core (Jack, a single input not the one with green and orange I believe they are combined in the same Jack) and The G-LAB Thallium (USB connector).

Hi,
Actually, it doesn’t change much (if not nothing at all) in terms of sound itself.
To distinguish between an analog or digital connection, all components of the system need to be high-end, and even then, the sound will depend much more on the hardware behind it (the DAC used, etc...) than on the type of connection itself. Well, I'm digressing a bit from the topic.
I might advise you to lean more towards the jack connection, because it will be more compatible than a USB headset. But the real choice lies in the quality of the headset itself, not its connection.
And I would add that a good stereo headset is better than a low-end 5.1/7.1.
