I bought a new Huawei P40 Lite, but I can't use the Google Play Store on this phone. Does anyone know how to install Google services on this phone? Or is there another way to download the app on this phone?

Hello, I just bought my Huawei P40 Lite and I can't install Google Play; some of my apps don't work without it. Thank you in advance if I can get an easy tip.
I went to give this phone to my daughter because most of the apps I use are not available, like my Line which I use to communicate with my friends around the world... Empires and Puzzles, my game that I've been playing for two and a half years... Smule music thing... and many others... The P40 Lite may be a very good performing phone, but not for me; it remains a useless phone for now. The P30 Lite remains the best compromise... but for now, due to my reception, I've gone back to my old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge... until I'm sure not to rely on Huawei...
In conclusion, one piece of advice before buying: carefully consider the compromises you're willing to make and make sure to check if your apps are available or not...

Since the device is not "certified" by Google, it's hard to fully and functionally install GMS... This is necessary for apps like the Play Store, etc.

Installing Googlefier is simple and without a PC; you install it via your internet browser and you get all Google services and the Play Store.

Downloading APKpure from the internet will give you all your apps.
The seller doesn't mention it, but the labels state that it's via App Gallery and not the Play Store.
The new Huawei devices are like that; they have warned about it. You should always do your research before buying something ;)

Hello, I had the same issue and I went through APKpure where I was able to download the apps I wanted (Waze, WhatsApp, etc.)... and it works well! Phew!
