the problem is most likely with the HDMI connections, either the television itself or the cable.

When the picture and sound cut out, does anything display on the television?
Have you tested the other outputs on your TV? (VGA, scart, RGB, other HDMI ports, etc...)

Check the sockets (tightening of the wires); avoid power strips as much as possible. Do not hesitate, for testing, to use an extension cord connected to a distant socket to power the decoder.
In my opinion, a micro-cut is not detectable with a simple bulb that is always on...
Electronic circuits are much more sensitive than the human eye to any drop in voltage or micro-cuts
