Hello,
I purchased an ASUS Adol computer in China.
I asked for the Windows to be converted to French, which was done.
After a few months, some keys stopped working. Today, I can't even enter my password.
Anyway, I guess what the seller did wasn't really quality work.
I'm looking to reset it, and it's okay if everything is in Chinese at first.
Do you know how to proceed if I can't even enter my password to access the desktop?

Hello,
Boot into the advanced system recovery options using method 1 from this page: Windows Advanced Recovery Options.
The principle is to restart on the page where you are asked for the password, with the icon in the bottom right and while holding the Shift key.
If you cannot reach the window where Windows asks for the passwords, because of a blockage or crash beforehand...
Turn off the computer twice during the Windows loading.
It will enter repair mode, which will also give access to the advanced system recovery options.
(If booting into the advanced recovery options is impossible, you need to create a USB drive to boot from it; you have a link on the previous page for that).
More help:
Once there, go to Troubleshoot, and you can then attempt to reset the PC.

Remember to back up your data,
Once you've reinstalled everything and everything's working,
I invite you to create a system image now that you have a stable Windows.
This system image can be restored at any time, including Windows, updates, and installed programs.
Very useful for easily restoring Windows when everything is crashed.
So if you need to reinstall Windows, you can restore your image, which avoids having to redo all the tedious updates, reinstall applications, and software.
