Burning a CD error 0X8002006E then 63

Hello,
can you help me? I've been struggling for 3 days. It's impossible to burn a music CD, whereas it used to work fine with the same CDs
I do it on Finder, but at the moment of burning, after 5 minutes the disc gets ejected with error code 0X8002006E, then I try again and get new code 0X80020063
I have a MAX OS X version 10.8.5

Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

    Hello,

    I just saw the link provided by zipe31, and in that link, it is recommended to use the TweakBit application for Mac. On my side, I strongly discourage this so-called cleaning application. It is a scam (scareware), similar to MacKeeper or other trash that tries to make you believe that the Mac is sick to push for the purchase of the application.

    To do a software clean of the Mac, there is the excellent and free Onyx:

    As for the burning issue, here are 3 things to test:

    - clean the burner drive with a cleaning CD available in stores. Often, dust accumulated on the laser lens prevents burning the CD.

    - clean blank CDs or DVDs with a microfiber cloth.

    - test with another brand of blank CD - each burner is calibrated with ± precision, and sometimes a brand of CD that does not work on one burner will work very well on another, and vice versa.

      Thank you, I followed the procedure before asking my initial question. The songs are recorded on the CD but do not burn.

    Thank you Francis, I'm going to buy a cleaning CD, I didn't know that existed. And I'll change the brand of CD, in short, I'm going to do everything that is advised to me, and I'll let you know how it goes.
