Task scheduler

Hello, I cannot modify the tasks as it says "the user account you are working on does not have permission to disable this task" and when I go to properties and try to change something it asks me for a username and a password, I am the administrator and I do not have a password.

I am the only one using the computer and I haven't set a password for my session. I enter my username but nothing happens; it just says username and password. But which username? Which password?

    Hello,

    Try PowerRun

    https://www.sordum.org/9416/powerrun-v1-4-run-with-highest-privileges/

    To launch MMC.EXE (in System32)

You add the task scheduler as a plug-in and then use it.

There are other ways if you want to disable a task, or delete it, with PowerRun and Autoruns

    Or completely disable UAC.

How come I'm being asked for a username and password? I'm afraid of making a mistake or something; I just want Update Orchestrator to stop waking my PC from sleep.

      Hello,

A scheduled task is necessarily attached to a user to run
that's why at the end it asks you to enter a Windows user’s information.
It doesn’t have to be an administrator.
