Tab key activates by itself

Good evening everyone,
I find myself facing a mystery. For a few days now, the tab key on my computer (desktop) has been activating by itself in the Windows 10 start menu.
However, it doesn't activate by itself in applications (Word, games, etc.). It's very strange.
The problem is that the TAB key being stuck in a loop in the Windows menus prevents me from using them.
I've unplugged my keyboard and the problem persists. I've run an antivirus scan... same thing. I'm out of ideas.
