Hello,

Since the Windows 10 update, I have a message when opening Ciel Compta Évolution:

Damaged application Message: ***CONFIG ERROR 4*** Source file: camconfig.ccp(757)

Of course, I've almost finished my 2019 accounts, my backup dates from 12/21... but without access...

In the indicated directory WK\Complément\divers\, I have a file Config.cam that I tried to rename to camconfig.ccp, without result, to config.cam without a capital letter as indicated in previous solutions

Which file should I rename, and to what?

I also tried saving it under a different name, after making a backup copy on the desktop, then the uninstallation which goes wrong. If I leave it during uninstallation, but remove it before reinstalling the software, it indicates that it cannot find the .msi in the temp file for installation. If I point to the CD, that doesn't work either...

Can you help me?

Thank you in advance for your help

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 72.0

The answer is provided in the previous posts: you need to cut the statics folder on the desktop and run the cd or installation file in repair mode. I paid for an hour of maintenance to Ciel, but he cleaned my computer and made it perform better, and installed an update. Can't complain, then.

Hello, I have the same problem today after a Windows 10 update. How do you cut the folder? I called support but they asked me to pay €77 for two months of assistance, and I told them I didn’t need that, bill me for one hour of maintenance instead because I don’t need anything else, but they wouldn’t listen.
Thank you for telling me how to do it
      Best regards

Hello, same problem, uninstalling the product then reinstalling it.
If an update is necessary, the program will handle it.
Actually, I changed workstations by cloning the hard drive.
        The settings are preserved.
        Best regards.

      Hello,

You indeed need to delete the "WGC" folder located in the "statics" folder.

      C:\ProgramData\Ciel\Statics

This is in case a Ciel server is installed; it is unnecessary to delete the "SRV" folder contained in statics.

Thanks to isa2pom for their post.
