Increasing a Snapchat score: how is it possible?

Hello everyone!
So this morning when I woke up, I decided to go on Snapchat and check my messages. When I opened those from my girlfriend, I quickly realized that something was wrong and that she was angry. Last night before going to bed, I wished her good night and told her I was going to sleep. I wasn't lying since I actually went to sleep right after. But she says my Snapchat score increased during the night. She suspects that I was awake and cheated on her or something. Anyway, my question is the following: does the Snap score increase instantly or does it take several minutes to go up? Is it possible that it could be due to something else? Maybe a Snap I received but didn't open increases the Snapchat score? I want to emphasize that I did indeed go to sleep after saying good night. It has also happened to me to see the score increase a few hours later. Right now, I've changed photos with my girlfriend but her score doesn't go up anymore; it only shows when she adds a Story, where all the photos that have been received or sent appear.

My question is, is it possible that there's a bug or that there's a way to block someone so that this person can't see the score increase???!

But this time it only increases when there's a story; if the person doesn't make a story for several days, the score doesn't go up, and as soon as they make a story, the score shows everything they've done for several days.

The snap score is not necessarily updated instantly; it may take longer (hours or days) if you have not opened the received snaps. This does not affect your score; you need to open your snaps for your score to increase.
