Hello,
I am currently creating a colorful CV and I am working with shapes filled with color and text. The entire page looks good and filled, but when I print the page, white borders appear. If I choose a page background, it does not change the print, still with borders. How can we print the entire page in color, without borders?
Thank you for your replies.

You need to print on a larger paper than A4 and then trim it down....
Possibly with a borderless printer you can do it, but it's not perfect on thin paper...
And not all printers are "borderless"... -
Hello,
Of course! Personal printers, with few exceptions, need a margin.
But hey, is color really necessary??? Aside from draining the ink or toner cartridges, I don't see the point.

Good evening,
I didn't know that Word needs a margin and what matters to me is that my resume stands out and doesn't go unnoticed.
In any case, I will print 1 original and make good copies at a specialized shop.-
For your information, I received hundreds of CVs during my career as a manager: the ones most loaded with colors, frames, embellishments, and photos were those I put at the bottom of the pile...
A sober and "professional" CV attracts more attention from the recruiter than a flashy flyer!
So it's a very bad idea to use a colored background, unless you're applying for a job as a painter or a designer.

I completely agree with Raymond.
Just a clarification regarding the margin: it’s not Word that needs a margin but the printer.
