Unable to receive phone calls Solved

Question

Hello.

I just bought two Xiaomi phones: the Xiaomi Redmi 7A and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

I can send SMS and make calls, but I don't receive calls.
After someone tries to call me, I receive a message: Free voicemail on "date" at "time", this number called once on your mobile.

A few days ago, I had to change my SIM cards to nano SIMs because the ones I had for my old phones were not compatible with the new ones, and I did activate the new SIM cards on the Free website.

I have the same problem on both phones.

I put a Soch SIM card in place of the new Free SIM card in a Xiaomi phone, and incoming calls are not showing up. I put the new Free SIM card in a Samsung phone, and the SIM card works fine.
The problem lies with the phone and not the SIM card.

It might be a settings issue?
I checked the settings, and incoming calls are not disabled, and call forwarding is indeed disabled.

Hello,
Try going to a Free store or calling them, it might be related to the SIM cards.
If that's not the case, go to the store(s) where you bought your phones with proof that you purchased them there, like the receipt for example.

I went to the store. I hadn't installed the phones properly. For the Xiaomi, when you insert a new SIM card, you need to reset the phone to factory settings.
There's a setting at startup related to the SIM card that I must not have set to yes.

At the store, they solved the problem. They did tests, the phones are receiving calls properly. Back at home a few hours later, the problem started again, it's impossible to receive calls.
In the meantime, I just restored the home Wi-Fi, the Google account to recover contacts, and applications like WhatsApp.

After coming back from the store, I tried several times but couldn't receive calls. This morning I tried again; it rang once, and when I tried a little later several times, I still couldn't receive calls.

I think it's the Free SIM card that is not compatible with Xiaomi phones.  The Soch SIM card works very well on the Xiaomi phone and the Free SIM card works very well on the Samsung phone.
