Hello, when trying to read or extract information from a CD, I am unable to get the information related to this CD. When clicking on "search for information about the album," I receive the following message:
This page cannot be displayed
. Check that the web address http://fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com is correct
. Search for the page with your search engine
. Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Nothing works!
Thanks for your response...

    Good evening Fifi,

Don't panic, there are technical issues on their side.

Their servers may be under maintenance or Microsoft may have dropped this service. Click HERE to learn more.

Please be patient until it's resolved.

How do you go about obtaining the information related to this CD?

    Best regards,

    ChariduP - Have a nice day :)

Thank you for the response, but I've been trying for several days now and still facing the same problem... I also tried with "Clementine" no info there either!
How do I go about this... I've already extracted at least a hundred and never had a problem.
Actually, I insert the CD into the drive after opening VMP and I click "Extract CD" and all the info displays (cover, artist name, album name, track name, etc., etc...).
Thanks again for the response, but after clicking on the LINK everything is in English, and I prefer Latin...

      Good evening

You wouldn't be confusing VLC and WMP by any chance?

      See you, goodbye

      evening

      no harm done

the very relevant link from charidup
informs that krosoft has stopped offering this service to win7 or 8 users

you will have to either enter the information manually into the mp3
      with mp3tag
      or use another ripping software

      ciao ciao

Re, Ok, thanks for the info, I'm going to try "Clementine" again but it didn't seem to work the first time either. In any case, thanks for the info...
    Have a good evening.
