USB drive not recognized on Sony CMT-X3CD system

Hello,

My 2 USB drives in EXFAT format are not recognized by my new Sony CMT-X3CD hi-fi system.
Can you help me?
They work fine on my Windows and Mac PCs.

    Try formatting your USB drives to FAT 32 and see.

      Hello and thank you for your reply Quentin,
      Unfortunately, I formatted my USB drives to NTFS on Windows (FAT 32 was not offered) and Mac OS Extended on Mac and it's still not working!!!!
      My Sony device is brand new, released on the market in 2018!
      Is it not mandatory to buy a SONY drive (locked system by the brand???)
      I am worried and fear the breakdown of the new device, surprising but not impossible!
      What do you think?

    Hi,

    To format a drive larger than 32GB in FAT32

    Check here: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/fat32format.htm

    The procedure is outlined.

    But to simplify, put fat32format.exe in your user folder C:\Users\*

    (Where the command prompt opens)

    Then, if the letter of your drive is x, you enter the command fat32format x:

    So replace x with the letter of the drive

    With the command prompt

    (Click on Windows PowerShell (Admin) by right-clicking the Start Menu button) type cmd
    then the command
